MOCHA FRUIT WINE WITH THE FLAVOUR OF NATURE
In addition to the traditional Villány red wines fruit wine specialities is also involved in the production of. Our aim is to introduce consumers to this wine speciality, which is still less widespread in Hungary. We consider it important that our fruit wines made exclusively from fresh, juicy, domestically produced fruit without the addition of water, colourings or flavourings.
DESSERT WINE FROM SUN-DRIED FRUIT
The raw material is selected from the finest fruits of our 45 hectares of orchards. The technology is very similar to that of classic grape fruit fermented wine: ripe fruit is harvested and immediately transported to the processor. The freshly picked fruit is destemmed within 20 minutes of harvesting, followed by fermentation in an oxygen-free environment to preserve the fresh flavours.
Taste the flavour of nature in a bottle with the Mokos Fruit Wine specialities: Meggybor, Eperbor, Ribizlibor, Raspberry cider, Cajibor, Blackberry wine, Silvab, Almabor or even Quince-apple-pear hybridisation form too!
Most of our fruit wines are sweet, but if you are a dry wine fan, try our speciality cherry wine aged in barrique barrels!
CLASSICUS VILLÁNY WINE OF PROTECTED ORIGIN
Our vineyards, located in the Weingarten vineyard in the northern part of the Villány wine region, are home to the typical domestic and international varieties (Portugieser, kékfrankos, pinot noir, merlot, cabernet franc, cabernet sauvignon). Thanks to the loess and red clay soils, the sub-Mediterranean climate and the above-average yield limitation, the quality of the Villány classicus and premium winesWe produce around 100 000 bottles a year, starting in 2008.
DHC MANSION
Villány wine of protected origin can only be made from specific grape varieties harvested in the wine region. Villány PDO wines can be identified by the words "Districtus Hungaricus Controllatus Villány", with the cherry blossom emblem in the picture.
