From Cellar to Cellar - Variations on Vincé

A régi szokás szerint a szőlősgazdák Szent Vince napján pincéről-pincére járva kóstolták meg egymás borait, valamint az aznapi időjárásból és a metszett „Vince vesszők” állapotából jósolták meg a következő szüret gazdagságát. „Ha szent Vintze napja fénylik, megtelik a pintze, és sok jó bort várhatni”, vagyis a közismert időjárási regula szerint a jó idő jó termést hoz. A Vince napi hagyományoknak köszönhetően a Villány-Siklós borút szervezésében a Villányi borvidék településein Hordós-, Dűlőjáró- és Vacsorázó Vince programokat tartanak minden év januárjában, melynek állandó résztvevője a Mokos Pincészet is. Az eseményen résztvevő borászatok pincejárásra invitálják a bor kedvelőket, melyhez hagyományőrző borkóstoló, vesszőfakasztás, játékos vetélkedők és finom vacsora is társul. Palkonyai Nyitott Vince – pincetúra a palkonyai borászokkal

The winemakers of Palkonya also invite wine lovers to a cellar tour during the all-day Open Vince Day in Palkonya. A villányi borvidék 3 napos zsongó tavaszi fesztiválja, mely rengeteg programot kínál az érdeklődőknek. Májusfaállítás, Bor-Ász futball gálamérkőzés, kézműves foglalkozások, lovas kocsikázás vagy épp gyalog- és kerékpártúrák a borvidék dűlői között. Májustól augusztusig havonta jelentkező rendezvénysorozat. Péntekenként különböző típusú szabadtéri könnyűzenei koncertek – mint a Halott Pénz, Supernem, Margaret Island, Paso – csábítják Villányba az érdeklődőket, melyet hajnalig tartó utcabál követ. Devil's Den Festival

The festival has been held every August since 2008 and has become increasingly successful. The aim of the event is to showcase the artistic richness of the Hungarian people in the region, which is why it features theatre and dance performances, a variety of popular music concerts, film screenings, family and literary programmes, exhibitions and many other cultural experiences. Not only the programmes, but also the venues are diverse. The various performances will take place in Beremend, Kisharsány, Nagyharsány, Vylyan and Mokos Winery.

 A fesztivál ideje alatt a palkonyai pincék ajtajai is nyitva állnak, ha egy finom borra vagy hideg fröccsre vágysz.  Számos izgalmas program vár az Ördögkatlan Fesztivál ideje alatt a MOKOS Pincészetben is! Jobbnál-jobb programokkal készülünk a Katlanlakóknak: színházi előadások, könnyűzenei koncertek, birtok – és pincelátogató túrák várnak az ide látogatókra. The biggest and best-known festival in the wine region, where the best red wines of Villány take centre stage.
