The Villány wine region has become the most famous red wine producing region in the country.

The jewel of the Villány wine region: Palkonya

Palkonya is a village with one street, located at the northeastern end of the Villányi Hills, which hides countless treasures for tourists!

LISTINGS
The historic cellar row, consisting of 53 press houses on a hillside, offers visitors a beautiful view. In addition, the red-domed St. Elisabeth's Church, also a historic monument, is also famous: the Catholic church was built by the Batthyány family and consecrated in 1816 in honour of St. Elisabeth. RESULTS
The municipality was the first in Hungary to win the European Cultural Village title.
