The Mokos family has been has been present in the Villány wine region for three generations, but the really big turning point came in 2010, when we started we now have a 4500m2 winery building. In addition to the basement investment a strong sales and marketing activity over the last 10 years We have participated in hundreds of wine festivals, fairs and exhibitions every year, and thousands of people have visited our winery and guesthouse in Palkonya and our hotel in Villánykövesd, Hotel Cabernet. Thanks to all this Mokos Winery and Mokos wines have grown into a well-known and respected brand.

On our 17 hectares of vineyards you can find the typical domestic and international varieties (Portugieser, kékfrankos, pinot noir, merlot, cabernet franc, cabernet sauvignon). Thanks to the loess and red clay soils, the sub-Mediterranean climate and the above-average yield limitation, the quality of the Villány classicus and premium wines we make. In our modern processing plant Every year, nearly 250,000 bottles of wine are downloaded, which are perfectly matured in our stainless steel tanks and hundreds of 225, 300, 500 litre (barrique) barrels. We are constantly improving our winery, so that we always have the best quality available. state-of-the-art technology, which is complemented by a respect for wine and the care inherited from our ancestors.
