Our family winery has been present for three generations in Villány Wine Region and is now present in two municipalities: Palkonyán and Villánykövesden. Our winery in the in 2012/13 has undergone another major development. Opposite the beautiful cellar row of Palkonya, on the hillside above the fish ponds, a magnificent basement theatre, which has become a meeting point for wine and culture. The two thousand square metre winery is not only Palkonya, but the whole Villány Wine Region the jewel in the crown. The building houses modern winemaking technology, the barrique barrel ageing, a Wine tasting room for 120 people, and an odd terrace with a view which impresses all our visitors.
The link between wine and culture will be strengthened by a 360-seat theatre and events hall, where we plan to offer a colourful and exciting cultural programme. With our presence in Villánykövesdi and Palkonya, we aim to enrich the life and services of the wine route and the smaller wine villages, and to show that small villages in the neighbourhood of Villány are also worth a visit for tourists who love wine, gastronomy and culture.
