St. Vince's Day is a very special day for winemakers and wine lovers, as it is the day on which the quality of the autumn harvest is predicted. Vince Day customs and traditions play an important role in the lives of the Villány vine-growers, too, as they go from one cellar to another, tasting each other's wines, asking God's blessing on the vines, and even using superstitious tricks to ensure a good harvest.
Following the tradition of the past years, we are waiting for our guests with a colourful Vince Day programme!

PROGRAMMES
VINCE THE VINCE FIGHTER
In the VINCE VINCE FIREFIGHTER programme, we will tour the Villány wine region by bus and enjoy the traditional Vince's Day feast. There are 3 routes available for the Dűlőjáró variants. Participants will enjoy an unforgettable winter landscape experience, exciting games, delicious wines and tasty snacks.
The price of the Dűlőjáró Vince packages is 18 000 HUF/person. Vince Day experiences at three wineries on one itinerary, plus a shuttle bus service from Villány to Villány.
You can meet the Mokos Winery at the 2nd stop on route 1!
Playful Wines - Wine Games
Following an old tradition in the vineyards, we dig wine from the ground in the Weingarten vineyard opposite Palkonya, where we wash the vines and water the soil. We treat our guests to mulled wine and homemade delicacies. At the Mokos Family Winery, you can taste 3 wines and test your skills in the Vince Day quiz and the wine tasting skill games. Our harmonica player will provide the background music for the guaranteed good mood in the vineyard and the cellar.

In the HORDOS VINCE programme, you can discover wines aged in barrels that are not yet on the market.
Programme at Mokos Winery:
Barrel tasting and cellar visit with Péter Mokos.
A tasting of special, not yet available wines with the winery's winemaker. During the cellar visit, three wines will be tasted, accompanied by homemade tarts and scones. Pre-registration required!
