Martin's Day - the celebration of New Wine!
Martin's Day is the last day before the 40-day Advent fast, when good and rich food and merriment are allowed. Saint Martin's Day marked the end of the peasant year, when the annual farm work was finished and the winter rest period began. The belief was that if you didn't eat goose on Martin's Day, you would starve all year round. And after the goose dinner, it was customary to toast with a "Martin's glass", i.e. the new wine that had just been matured.

Ticket Information and Tickets:
Tickets are available in our webshop and can also be purchased in person at MOKOS Winery (7771 Palkonya, Hegyalja u. 1.) every weekday between 8:00 and 16:00.
Our tickets are in virtual format, so you don't have to worry about taking them! The ticket purchase is final once the ticket amount has been paid (online/in person).

We are pleased to announce that all problems have been solved, as our shuttle bus Pécs-Palkonya között 3.000 Ft/fő áron utazhat oda-vissza! Az este során legalább 2 időpontban indítjuk majd visszafele a buszokat, hogy Ön választhassa meg hazaindulása időpontját és ne legyen másokhoz kötve. Hogy taxit se kelljen hívnia, a busz Pécs több pontján is megáll majd. A pontos menetrendről és a megállókról november elején közzétesszük a részleteket.
Not coming from Pécs? We have a solution for that too: Kozármisleny irányából 2.500 Ft/fő áron , Villány és Villánykövesd irányából 2.000 Ft/fő áron biztosítunk transzfert oda-vissza!
