In keeping with tradition, the main focus at MOKOS Winery on Martin's Day is on new wines and goose-tasting. This year again, our winery will welcome wine and music lovers with a St. Martin's Day Goose Night: a real Goose Feast with classic flavours, unlimited new wine and premium Meggywein!  

Martin's Day - the celebration of New Wine!

Martin's Day is the last day before the 40-day Advent fast, when good and rich food and merriment are allowed. Saint Martin's Day marked the end of the peasant year, when the annual farm work was finished and the winter rest period began. The belief was that if you didn't eat goose on Martin's Day, you would starve all year round. And after the goose dinner, it was customary to toast with a "Martin's glass", i.e. the new wine that had just been matured.

• Confit goose leg

• Steamed cabbage with apple and wine,

Ticket Information and Tickets:

Tickets are available in our webshop and can also be purchased in person at MOKOS Winery (7771 Palkonya, Hegyalja u. 1.) every weekday between 8:00 and 16:00.

Our tickets are in virtual format, so you don't have to worry about checking in! The ticket purchase is final once the ticket amount has been paid (online/in person).

IF YOU HAVEN'T DECIDED YET, WE CAN HELP! What concerns might arise?

"I don't want to get in a car, so how can I have fun?"

We are pleased to announce that all problems have been solved, as our shuttle bus You can travel between Pécs-Palkonya for 8.000 HUF/person round trip!  During the evening, we will run the buses back at least 2 times, so you can choose your own departure time and not be tied to others. So that you don't have to call a taxi, the bus will stop at several points in Pécs. The exact timetable and stops will be announced in early November.

Are you not coming from Pécs? We have a solution for that too: From Kozármisleny we provide a transfer for 7.500 HUF/person, from Villány and Villánykövesd for 5.000 HUF/person!

Transfer bus tickets are available until 03 November in our webshop.

To use the bus, all you need to do is order your transfer ticket from in our webshop or indicate your transfer needs at  szervezes@mokos.hu by e-mail.
