From Cellar to Cellar - Variations on Vincé
According to an old custom, on St. Vince's Day, the vine-growers would go from cellar to cellar tasting each other's wines and predicting the richness of the next harvest from the weather and the condition of the pruned "Vince's canes". "When the sun shines on the holy Vintze, the pintze will be full and there will be plenty of good wine", the common weather rule that good weather brings good harvests.
Thanks to the tradition of Vince Day, the Villány-Siklós Wine Route organises the Vince Barrel, Vineyard Walk and Dinner in the Villány Wine Region every January, with Mokos Winery as a regular participant. The wineries participating in the event invite wine lovers to a winery tour, which includes traditional wine tasting, a wicker hanging, games and a delicious feast.
You can visit, discover and "taste" up to 3-4 popular wineries in a day. A bus tour of the wine region, fun activities such as a wine hunt, watering blessed fields with wine, a corking competition, Vince's pruning - barrel tastings, wine concerts and a great wine dinner to close the day will make this traditional event a memorable one.

St. Vince's Day games in the spirit of tradition, wine tasting and good vibes at the foot of the Palkonya vineyard hill, at the Mokos Winery, where we will also treat our guests to mulled fruit wine and wine snacks.
In addition to our three-item wine tasting, the playful can test their skills in the Vince's Day quiz and the wine tasting skill games.

Everyone can participate in the programmes at their own risk.
Children under the age of 18 are the responsibility of their adult chaperone. Stations are unable to serve alcohol to children under 18 years of age.
Consumption in excess of the offers described above must be arranged individually.
For ice redemption on the event no option. If the event is cancelled by the organiser for unforeseen reasons, the amount paid will be refunded in the form of a voucher.
