When building our winery, we were looking for a unique location that was close to the historic cellar row of the village, but at the same time provided enough space to create a modern, 21st century winery that is not only a winery, but also represents the art of winemaking. Finally, a <\/span>abandoned quarry<\/b> we have chosen, which is the <\/span>with a row of cellars in Palkonya<\/b> opposite, and thanks to the characteristics of the area, it has allowed us to create a <\/span>gravity winemaking<\/b> nestled into the side of the Vill\u00e1nyi hills.<\/span><\/p>\n

The more than <\/span>4 thousand m\u00b2 building<\/b> is the largest winery in Palkonya today, with a three-circle floor plan uniquely inspired by the <\/span>Mokos Winery logo<\/b> symbolising harmony and the spirit of our winery.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the first phase of the winery's construction, the <\/span>technological premises<\/b> next to a <\/span>tasting room<\/b> has also been set up. We place great emphasis on <\/span>for quality<\/b>, and with our modern equipment, every year <\/span>nearly 250 000 bottles of classic and premium wines<\/b> we produce. In the winemaking process <\/span>stainless steel diving tanks<\/b> which allow one of the most gentle fermentation and racking processes. As the most important winery in Palkonya <\/span>our aim is to provide a complex experience<\/b> for our visitors, <\/span>while the <\/span>stimulating cultural life<\/b> we are also actively involved. With this in mind, we have continued to expand our building, and by August 2013 we had completed the <\/span>our theatre and event hall<\/b>, which <\/span>with an auditorium for 300 people<\/b>, <\/span>with a lodge for 60 people<\/b>, as well as the most modern <\/span>boasts sound and lighting equipment<\/b>. This makes it an ideal venue for larger events, concerts and other cultural events.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our building <\/span>with the third phase to be delivered in 2022<\/b> completes the dream already conceived at the beginning <\/span>gravity winery structure<\/b>. The more than <\/span>100 metre long building<\/b> has been extended to four levels, allowing the wine-making steps to be broken down by level. Once the fruit and grapes have been received, fermentation, storage in vats and barrel ageing take place on separate levels, allowing the stages of fermentation and ageing to be carried out without mechanical intervention, using only the <\/span>gravity<\/b> to help them shape themselves to perfection <\/span>our refined wines<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n
