The 15 hectares of vineyards are made up of 4.5 hectares of blue grapes, with the remaining 1.5 to 2 hectares of vines being equally divided between blue franc, pinot noir, merlot, cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc. In 2018, we added a further 2.5 hectares of white grapes. Our wide range of varietal wines and blends from domestic and international varieties guarantees that every wine lover will find the wine they like best.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignfull size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/mokos.hu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/Mokos_Pinceszet_szoloultetveny_X_2000x645-1024x330.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<h4><strong>The sunny HONEY<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the traditional and internationally (renowned) red wines of Vill\u00e1ny, our winery also produces premium fruit wines. The technology used to make fruit wine is very similar to that used for classic grape-fermented wine: ripe fruit is harvested and immediately transported to the processing plant, where it is quality controlled and graded. The freshly picked fruit is washed and destemmed shortly after harvesting, followed by fermentation in a refrigerated environment, isolated from oxygen, to preserve the fresh flavours.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignfull size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/mokos.hu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Mokos_Birtok_gyumolcsos_2000x645-1024x330.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Photo by Mirkophoto<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>We consider it important that our fruit wines are made exclusively from our own and domestically produced, fresh, juicy fruit, without the addition of water, colouring or flavouring agents. The raw material is selected from the finest fruit of our 45 hectares of orchards.Our main fruit is sour cherry and plum, but we also have strawberries, apricots, cherries, pears, peaches and apples.
